It’s late, but my P-51 engine came back from the shop today. I’d like to get this bird back in the air this weekend, so after hours I remounted the engine. It took a few hours because there’s a lot of stuff in not much space. But the engine’s back on, it’s perfectly aligned, and the prop and spinner are installed, too. While I was at it, I made a few minor modifications such as replacing and rerouting the throttle pushrod and upsizing the retract air reservoir.
Heck, weather permitting, I may just sneak out for a test flight tomorrow–er, today. 🙂
