I’ve been getting plugged back in to the regional developer events this year, and committed to helping with this year’s Code Camp. It’s impressive how much the group has improved since I last participated.
For the past few weeks we have been working behind the scenes to prepare for this year’s event. The 2014 Atlanta Code Camp will be held on October 11th. We currently plan to host it at Southern Polytechnic again, which worked out fairly well previously.
Registration is not yet open to the public, be we hope to be ready for that soon. This past week the call for speakers was announced over Twitter and through email, and we are now accepting topic submissions. Code Camps welcome speakers at all experience levels – we encourage submissions from new and experienced speakers alike. Note that the submission deadline is September 15th, so don’t procrastinate!
If you are interested in sponsoring this event, then please reach out to codecamp@live.com for more information. You can also find information about sponsorship levels / benefits on our event sponsorship information page. Sponsorship can be a great way to get your brand, products, and/or recruiters out in front of several hundred local developers.
